Much has been written about the existence of a secret code in the Holy Bible. But does it exist? There is a lot of people who claim that there is one code.
In 1994, the magazine Statistical Science published one essay about it "Equidistant Letter Sequences in the Book of Genesis" [*]. In the same magazine, other researchers published one paper, "Solving the Bible code puzzle", denying the existence of the code.
The point of these theories is that, if you take the original hebrew text of the Bible and you use the method of the ELS (Equidistant Letter Sequences), you find references of many of the most important events of mankind history (such as WW2, 9/11, etc). Critics say that statistically, you could find references to anything in any book of the size of the Bible. So in the end, it is just a question of faith.
