Man On The Moon: Too Good To Be True

I have just seen the debate on spanish mistery show "Cuarto Milenio" about whether the man did or did not arrive to the Moon.

As long as none of us will be able to go to check on the Moon by ourselves the space trash, the subject has become a matter of faith.

There is one interesting fact that has always pushed me to believe that, at least, some of the images we have seen from the Moon, were taken somewhere more near, on the Earth.

Aren't these photographs too much perfect to be true? Not only the quality of the images (in opposition with the quality of the video we saw), but also the scenography. Too put it in another way, if we had to document the Moon landing, wouldn't be these photographs the ones that we would dream?

Sobre l'arribada de l'home a la Lluna s'han escrit centenars de pàgines. Però cada cop és més nombrosa la gent que pensa que realment no hi hem arribat [*]. Als EEUU aquestes teories (que comunment s'engloben dins de les grans teories conspiratives) van reapareixer amb força gràcies al documental Conspiracy Theory: Did we land on the Moon? [*].

Personalment, fa temps que crec que no van arribar pas a la Lluna. Les raons? Diverses:

1. Tenien el motiu. El fet que la URSS hagués estat la primera en enviar un home a l'espai havia estat un cop molt dur per l'orgull americà. A més, la crisi dels missils de Cubà, el creixent problema a Vietnam...feient que molts americans sentissin que la guerra contra el comunisme no anava del tot bè.

2. Tenien la tecnologia. Recordem que 2001. A Space Odyssey, d'Stanley Kubrick és de l'any anterior a la supossada arribada a la Lluna.

3. Els russos sempre van estar molt més avançats en la carrera espaial, com demostren dos fets: van ser els primers en enviar un home a l'espai; i els americans no van ser capaços de crerar una estació espaial com la MIR, fins a la creació de l'Estació Espaial Internacional.

4. Durant 3 anys, dotze persones (incloent) Armstrong van trepitjar (supossadament) la Lluna; i de sobte ningú hi ha tornat en 37 anys!
